Another potpourri of Baltimore treasures.....

Hard fought finds of more relics from bygone Baltimore from Friday's hunt...V-nickel 1884, Buffalo 1915, IHP 1901, "silver-in-the-hole" Barber 1913, a Maryland staff officer's button (Waterbury?) 22 mm and "Extra Quality" backmark, and an eagle pin or cuff button.

Thanks Showtime. Finding silver is a rare occurrence for me. It was a shocker to move away the dirt and see "ONE DIME" staring at me.

Awesome hunt, :occasion14: pulling that many keepers feeds the fire. You sure dug a killer assortment of finds.

What a fun hunt! I would have enjoyed that as much as I'm sure you did. WTG

Awesome assortment of interesting finds!

The Maryland button is very nice.

Nice finds McDig. I like those old buttons.

Thanks, L-D. The IHP, Buffalo and Maryland button were all found within 30 ft radius. Same is true for the Barber and the V, but in a different part of the park.

Thanks Trezurehunter. It means a lot to find one from a Maryland Union officer.

Thank you, Prof. I worked hard at the backmark with a toothpick. With a loop I can clearly see the word "QUALITY".

Hi Beez and thanks. You're right. Finding the silver and the V with readable "LIBERTY" was really unusual, but I think the Maryland button is my favorite.
