this is just to update and "PROOF" my find is real.
not for the banner or praise just to show it is a real CSA buckle!

for just a field to get some swing time in....those old timer stories sometimes pay off!!

this would be my favorite. best and most valuable find of 2010.

found in a field in middle Tn around10in.



I had my buckle authenticated by Larry Hicklen and the value is $2800

I meant the last post of mine to look for. this is my original post from 10-31
I received many emails saying it was not real, was a reenactment buckle,
this is just to update and "PROVE" my find is real

That's a Personal Decision.
I see Too often when somone finds Something & Gets Banner
another & Sometimes several others
pop up the next day or so.
makes them look less rare.

As I told you by pm, I have known Larry Hicklen since 1973 and if he authenticated it, I am now a believer. That's a VERY light patina and must have just been the soil. You now have a lifetime recovery to be very proud of. Congrats, Quindy.

This should be on banner.It is a great find. My buckle is on banner now and has been on there long enough. Moderator, Please take mine off banner and put this one on the banner. It deserves to be there also.

I agree with Dman. I'll admit the pale green patina was like nothing I had ever seen on a C.S.A. Atlanta Arsenal buckle before but the gentleman went the exctra mile to get it authenticated by a CW expert. As soon as Dman's buckle rotates off, I respectfully consider that you consider adding the buckle in this post to the banner. It's truly a lifetime find that less than 1% of CW relic hunters will recover in this day and time. He should not be denied banner just because another just happened to be recovered at the same time. Thanks, Quindy.
