#8 marbles look like from the Chinese Checkers game from the 60/70's, came with 10- 6 different colours.

Many styles look like what we use to play for in the 60's in elementary school. Then later became ammo for the sling shots.

I still think I have a marble identification book somewhere....

I found the book. The are listed as mid 20th century machine made marbles. They did not specify who made each kind though. I suppose they assumed we all knew that.

These are from the latter half of the 20th century. Mostly commons from different companies, several from Asia.

If you can have too many marbles, i haven't figured it out yet. Here's the back of my truck with a haul of one weeks worth of finds. Much more at home.

In the above pics I failed to mention that these 2 groups are around 22mm. Shooters?
Looking at online guides I still can't determine a manufacturer.

Whoa!! Where if I may ask, do you find that many marbles?

Those shooters are Marble King marbles. 1960s and later.
I was looking at " Marble King" in an online guide and that was my guess... 'bout the same time as you posted the info! :laughing7: I'm reading the guide and learning Thank you Cheese!:headbang:

I paid the landowner who owns the property where a marble factory once stood and dug them.
That is cool!!
You Sir are a Rock-star!!!!:headbang:

You can see me in this video in several places. I'm Chuck, the guy who hit the vein of marbles.
