How many half dollar searchers in the United States have gotten canadian half dollars while CRH'ing?
How many have you gotten over the years?
Any other foreign coins found in half dollar rolls?
Which foreign coins are most common?

I am a beginner half dollar box searcher and am curious about foreign coins, especially canadian, found while CRH'ing.

In approximately 1,500 boxes I have found exactly one Canadian half dollar. It was silver, dated 1964. This was in June 2010. This was my only foreign silver from half dollar boxes. I have found many other foreign coins in with the halves, all the usual suspects others have listed. Mexico, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, Philippines, Jamaica...

edit to add numerous Panama Medio Balboas, none of them silver.

I found a British Half Crown in my very first box of halves. It was 50% silver. The only silver I have ever found in a box.

I have only gotten Canadian coins CRHing, but I do not have any halves from Canada from CRH.

England: ........and one Two Shillings from 1941 (Silver) (I think, it was during the war sometime)

Your 1940s two shilling (or florin) coin from the UK, if before 1947 is 50% silver; regardless of whether it's the English or Scottish crest variety
