In 1969, the Cuyahoga River made the cover of Times magazine for catching on fire... although it wasn't the first time. Mexico says, "Hold my beer!" and sets the Gulf of Mexico on fire! I love how they're spraying water on it... because, well, what else do you do when you set the ocean on fire?? I wonder what they have planned for the next Earth Day!!

I'd sure like to see the American government get its act together and do something like that. Thus far, the federal government has been way too weak in its proactive and retroactive responses to the climate crises.
