cant find anything

Most folks that are newbies start with totlots ( playgrounds) to get the hang of it and find goodies.. so thats a great start for ya.

All the ground around you has had someone there before you. Ask around or check the library, visit old fair sites, parks, old schools, etc. Suggest you get one of the books by Charles Garrett called Successful Coin Hunting. It will list places that you would never think of on your own.

Good Luck,
Sandman

don't get discouraged. you will make a hit. when you do, you will be hooked for life. hunt the simple stuff first. school yards, play grounds, etc. get permission even if you think you don't need it. why be hastled? how about your own yard? my home is 1890 and i've found lots here. dig a lot and see what the magic stick is telling you what it found. they talk to you but you have to learn their language. be neat and have fun!
