Where did you come from? Not the greatest pic but being new to Massachusetts I thought this was so New England...
Washington stateWhere did you come from?
Wooded areas in the state hold some amazing wildlife ,I live over here in Agawam along the Connecticut River,I;ve seen bear, coyotes, foxes red and gray, mink, beavers, wild turkeys, deer, had a black squirrel out back, ended up a hawks lunch, many hawks hunt overhead, seen Bald Eagles,Bobcats, all within a 5 mile radius from home, wildlife is AMAZING.Washington state
Don't forget the coyotes.Turkey's are taking over the country I've noticed. I saw some hanging around a busy shopping mall.
Yeah they're right a home everywhere anymore.Don't forget the coyotes.
And to think that they were almost our national birdTurkey's are taking over the country I've noticed. I saw some hanging around a busy shopping mall.

The coyotes around here look pretty healthy....Yeah they're right a home everywhere anymore.
They know where the goodies are....where the people are.The coyotes around here look pretty healthy....
I did not know that....I guess they can actually fly....to a certain extent. We have a bunch of those turkeys out here in northeastern Oregon, too! So... they might have come from Oregon!

Could have flown from here to there too.I did not know that....I guess they can actually fly....to a certain extent.![]()
Dead is so much easier that expending energy to catch it,just come and get it.I believe it was Ben Franklin who wanted the national bird to be the turkey rather than the eagle. He considered the eagle to be a carrion eater. Which it is. But still a better choice.
That's funny. You need a Turkey Crossing there sign. 😁Not the greatest pic but being new to Massachusetts I thought this was so New England...
My thoughts precisely! That's funny. You need a Turkey Crossing there sign. 😁
Always a good idea to warn motorist of heavy wildlife traffic. Here in the Colorado Rockies I came up on a toad crossing sign. I definitely slowed down and kept an eye out, so not to squish any. That's funny. You need a Turkey Crossing there sign. 😁
