~~Cellar Hole Hunt~~Copper Kind of Day~~

Got out for some detecting..I actually found this Cellar by getting lost looking for another cellar..
I dont think it had ever been detected but was just a short lived poor site..The 1838 largie i believe was lost sometime
after the house was vacated..I found a melted pewter spoon handle right on the lip of the cellar.Probably burned down early 1800's..
Ended up pulling 5 coppers and some buttons..More coppers than button what!
Nice 1838 Largie
1802 Draped bust
2 KG'S
And probably the most smoked readable copper i ever found is this Mass copper..

Some gilted Carriage piece

Holed Dandy and some other cool relics.
It felt good to get out i have some sites lined up and hopefully i can get out Sunday.

An LC is still on my bucket list..congrats on the buttons...is that one a whizzer or a button?

It's a button that the shank broke and they made it usable by punching holes in it i believe.

Hey Keddle a while back someone on Findmall made an ID that it was used after you put the drop top up on your Carriage this would lock it in
I like the umbrella idea..I tell you one thing i only find them on early poor sites..

Just cause it looks like that does not mean it Peddel..3/4 shaft on an umbrella...I dont think so..This was on some kind of axle..Umbrella ones mostly had rolled metal on the inside..This is splined and 3/4..Keep trying Hefty cinch sack!!
