Got out with Fred(MR ELECTRIC) to some cellar holes he had discovered:icon_thumright:

They seem like they been hit pretty good but we managed a few finds.
Got some recon work in also its a 300 acre section of woods.
When i got home i decided to go out in the farm i live on that i have been pounding for years:laughing7:
Managed a few keepers.
2 cent piece:icon_thumright:

Lion head knocker or pull???
Its got the large hole in its mouth.

Nice little silver button with a white stone:dontknow:

At the cellars i got the Colonial chape:headbang:

Some buttons one with a steam locomotive on it..Iron backed

A real cool door to a pot belly stove i believe to be Colonial:headbang:

Fred donated his escutcheon plate to me:thumbsup:

Have fun out there:hello:

You found some interesting things there.great job

great finds. cool pic of the lone tree :icon_thumleft:

Cool finds!Like the lion and the tongue and chape!

Good finds. I know of some cellars, just need lost more fall to get to them grass still to tall. HH

Nice variety of finds JB and I'm sure that are many cellar holes in your future this year. HH, Quindy.

Looks like a beautiful spot to detect, and some nice keepers found. I like the lion head and the little silver button.

Cheers,

Buck

Nice finds, but I think the lion is the back plate to a drawer pull. It looks too small for a knocker.

Congrats on the 2C and Silver Butt :occasion14:

Those lions heads are a popular imagery, I got one like yours with ring holes,
and a cast lead one without holes, some of my favorite finds !! HH to you :hello:

Super JB, super. I LOVE that old stove door. That would make a beautiful wall hanging in my office :laughing7:. Are you going to restore it? I'll bet the T2 screamed over that!

Nothing wrong with those finds JB. Sometimes that's the way it goes - scratch out a few things here and a few things there till the next good site is discovered.

Nice outing JB. Good warm-up for the upcoming season. I found one of those lion's head things years ago. If I can locate it I'll post it.

nice colonial buckle!

Hey Johnny B.

I am amazed at how many shoe buckles, and parts there of you find.

Nice bunch of relics, and any 2 cent piece is a good find...is it not ?

Good luck out there.

Rick
