Got out to an area that has 3 Cellar Holes in it..Expecting it to be totally pounded out i was surprised to get a buckle right away
I walked by the first cellar 3 times before finding it..Right on the side of a main walking trail
Man those things can hide..I only hunted the first Cellar on Monday for about three hours..
It is in pretty rough shape..
Scored a General service Civil War button
This is big around here they hardly never pop up.The thing that is cool about this is the name on the 1870 map just may be the Veteran of the Civil war who lost this button..Time frame is just about right
I found it in the privy area.Probably lost it while taking a s**t..
Got a smoked KG and Lagee as we say it..Or a couple Coppas
The strange coin or button has a date of 1797..It is much larger than a regular coin..I dont know what the heck it is..Looks like somebody carved into it??
It was the year Washington resigned it could have something to do with that i thought..
This Ram head was probably the front door knocker..It is way to heavy for a draw pull..I think
Some cool buckles and a nice decor ladies type buckle..
The long thin buckle had gold gilt on it and i have never found one quite like it..
Have fun out there
