Went out in the heat for a while today found a 1914 , 17 , 20 wheat pennies and $3.00 in clad and this thing my wife thinks is a change purse , what you think....

Cool Find!!! never seen anything like it
 
Ive seen a couple of purses on here made in that chainmail style...Ive never seen one with a top like yours...very cool.
 
looks like a 1800 thang.!
 
fad in late 1800's early 1900's
alot were made of silver
some of german silver (which is like a clad material)
 
Neat find, but some ugly to be carrying around "back in the day".
 
not nessecerily for change, but a chain link purse
