Chapel field day 2+3...

[Westfront]

Did 13hrs this weekend on Chapel field gridding towards the main area. Many targets incl. a lot of musket balls, don't know what happened in this area as many of them are military related. A couple roman coins, getting fat Sestercius make me hoping for silver and i was right. Just a filled one, but i'm ok with that. The closer i get to the main area the more lead was turning up. Best find was a little roman eagle decoration. Bad thing is, the field will be seed next week so this was the last hunt there for this year...

But still, you know where you got to, and you can carry on next time. All will come good, this is just the start.

Nice pile of coins Lu. You have a starting point for next season. Good luck.

Very well done! Some excellent finds for such a brief window of time. That's a lot of targets for sure!

Nice digs.

Nice variety there, and some nice finds as well. Those pesky musket balls! But you have to dig them!
