They were.. Until I found out I could use a fork to claw off the ends.. Made it so much easier!!!

those rolls are so easy to open. try tearing the sides were they meet at the top then peel it back, they unroll in your hand.

Am I missing something or did Loomis change wrappers? All of my old Loomis wrappers are N.F. String's and Sons? If anyone knows the story behind this, please do chime in.

Ok finished the box, and I am very pleased!!! Ended up with 4 keepers! (I can't get myself to open up the roll that had the Merc.)
Finds:
1) 1962 d
2) 1951 d
3) 1964
4) 1943 Merc (still in roll)

Also found a 1964 in cwr today..

I wonder what would happen if you sold the ender on Ebay? Starting bid $14.99 plus shipping. If I ever get an ender roll, I am selling it on Ebay... I usually do $.50 rolls, so 40% roll would have a starting bid of $24.99. A 90% ender roll would have a starting bid of $38.99.

Not a bad idea, but I keep all the silver I get.. I like to see it accumulate over time..

That is a beauty! I had my best dime box today with 2 mercs and 23 total keepers. One roll had 4 dimes in it! No enders tho much less a merc ender

WOW!!! That's a dream box right there!!! I can only hope for something even remotely close to that! Congrats!!! HH

Stick with it hopefully you will get one, i think someone dumped a collection of dimes in my district because they have been producing very well lately. Just keep hitting whatever seems to be working for you.

Great feeling when every 3 or 4 rolls has something in it. As i was opening it i was figuring everything after 2 or 3 was just icing on the cake! Its a great feeling

Today i got a call that i had two boxes of halves at a bank that i forgot i ordered. I was a little mad since halves have been absolutely terrible lately. And sure enough i got them and i got skunked.

But if you find something is producing by you my advise it keep doing that until the ag slows to normal. Good luck!
