Went to visit my buddy Bacon and get out all day on Saturday for our first official hunt of the year. He was finding all the good stuff for the most part. We got to an area where the DFX was getting bouncy, due to power lines, but Bacon was finding wheatys. So I suggested we turned down the dc one number and the ac up a notch and try it out. BAM! Bacon was getting wheaty after wheaty and me... nothen but modern change and pull tabs.

Until.....

That is a beauty though.

My brother got a 45 walker sunday. They are hard to come by. Make sure the dfx is ground balanced and turn the ac down in these situations. Or turn the gain down to 2 and turn the ac up. It will stabilize in them ranges.

There's quite an audience in Chicago as far as other members, Chicagoron, lookinforseated and treasurefiend and a whole bunch more. Welcome to the NET also. I didn't know if you would be looking for a hunting buddy or 2 but I'm sure you could PM them and ask ???

Lol Thanks, but ive been a member since early 2009. Just ignore the low post count. I find a lot of great stuff, I just don't post it very often. I decided that this year I will start posting as much as I can, but it will probably be just in the Illinois section for now.

Amazing how shiny they are after all that time in the ground. Breath taking when you first get that sparkling glimpse. Congrats
