Chillin' with Dwight D.

I was testing a brand new set of headphones out at one of my old stomping grounds. My fingers turned numb about 5 minutes into
the hunt. After about an hour playing with the new toy, I finally had to call it quits.

On the way back to the car, I heard a beep and this fellow popped out.


I know he's not silver, but I've been smiling all night!

You're so right! These new headphones are letting me hear everything my detector is saying. Lot's of chirps and clicks I've never heard before.

Luckily I can still recognize certain sounds ( like a dime near the surfice, or a quarter lying flat). I guess the fun part is digging up these new sounds so I
can learn what they corallate to in the ground.

The strangest thing is how the rest of the world just dissapears. Leaving only the sound of metal pinging back. I found myself facing in certain directions
to see what's going on around me.

I can't wait to try them again tomorrow. It's like having a brand new detector!
