??? Can anyone help me ID this Chinese Coin? After taking it to a few friends at Chinese Restaurants, I have narrowed this down to a Jia Ching 1793-1820. Any Ideas to it's authenticity or Value? (or if what I heard is true?) It measures 24mm. Also see this post for the story on how I almost trashed this coin http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,216838.0.html (about 6 replies down). Also help on IDing Tinman's find would be great too! Thanks!

Those are some great links PBK and just-geese . I was gettin ready to post this one , but now I now it's a Shan-Lung 1736-1795 .

My Chia Pet is a different story ..... It's not doing too good .
I fill it with water every night . The water seems to seep out by morning . Is this normal ? I can't find any cracks ............ The picture on the box always looks good !

this Shan Lung coin is a nice find, wherever you got it. It was minted in 1736....know by the hook on the top character.....no other date has this. Quite rare, while almost all other Shan Lung coins are in the $1.00 to $2.00 range, this one is listed at $100.00. Great find.
