Just talked to Judie and she has power again! Feeling good to have AC and be able to soak in her own tub. She still does not have cable or internet but is planning on going to the library and seeing if she can get online and come see us soon! Not sure what happened because we got cut off on our phone call and I tried to call back and got a busy signal. Hopefully she will not be without phone service! sheesh!

Hey Y'all I'm at the library. Limited time on computers...everyone's at a station and others waiting. Just enough time to read the last 2 pages since I've been here last.

Yep, we'll be cutting trees for a while. Had to get the ones off the fence 1st in order to rotate cattle into different pastures. Have not had the opportunity to check the woods yet due to high water, I'm pretty sure there will be trees on the fence we just repaired about a month ago.

I was thrilled to get our electricity back late Monday night. I understand and spoke with them myself, the crew who repaired the power lines in my area were from Kentucky. Just to have a/c was relieving...now I have work to do to get those little black bodies out of my house...once they dry, well it legs and wings and God know what else when they fall apart.

Millions & billions love bugs/honeymoon bugs outside on the patio, carport and the front porch...I got pics.

I just asked the fella in charge of the computers, he says I can down load the pictures, long as I am logged into ?? and they will stay at my computer but will disappear from the library computer.

I will be heading back to the foot doctor Monday for my scheduled appt. The bone spur in my big toe is really giving me some problems, but I really have been doing a lot of walking, raking, picking up debris. I will find out what it takes on the surgery, recover time and etc, I'm not missing CTH2 for anything.

I sure miss being here, I sure hope it does not take a month to have cable and internet services back.

Since I don't have internet/cable I can't keep up with the weather. All I know from our local forecast is 60% rain for Thursday and 90% for Friday...I understand they're saying breezy...what's that all about? What's the difference between windy and breezy? Well, looks like we gonna get a little bit out of Ike too.

Hey RR good to see you are doing ok. We haven't had internet at the house now for three days!! It's killing me. Charter is supposed to come by today and fix it. We'll see, they were supposed to bury a new line for the whole neighborhood 2 years ago and that was never done.

Dang I was at work today so I missed her, well shoot I guess I will have to call her this evening!


We are suposed to get so much rain we are under flood warnings til Sun!


So glad Judie has power and air she can close the windows and doors and get rid of the love bugs!
