Drying out down here, for a change. Ahhhhhhhh. Now just have mosquitoes the size of nickles.
Judie called today! Got her phone to STAY up finally. Said power still may be out for several more days. They've replaced 5 power poles in her neighborhood that went down, but nothing is strung up on 'em.
Others went down with trees laying across the lines, which held, but now they have to get the trees off of 'em.
Is it just me, or would it be better in the long run for power lines to be buried?? I know it costs more, but dang! Gotta be better than redoing them all the time, especially in THIS state! I KNOW! Job security...
TC, look out. You're always welcome here, as are RickyP, BEF, RR, Nana40, JMT, etc., and anybody else brave enough to bring their tents in from afar! (I'm leaving no one out who needs to escape.)
The greenhouse is open! No gators in the yard ... yet !
