Well I never had gogo boots but I wore out MANY a pair of cowboy boots back when I was a kid showin horses! lol None of my boots were as cute as those in your pic though Evy!

So far, everything is a go....{knocking on wood}. Have been doing some map plotting, and I "think" I will be taking my northern route....VA, WV,OH, IN, MO, and then to KS. Not sure yet. Heck, I don't even want to jinx things by deciding on a start date. Everything will depend on tomorrow and the next few days after Gayle's surgery.

Hey, Burdie, I just got off the phone with the lady at the Super 8 in Blackwell............a very sweet lady.....I will be staying there from Oct 9 through 13th. She asked if I had any pets.....and I almost told her that I had a pet skunk, but I thought...........Nawwwhhhhh.....she might put me between Gypsy's and Cyn's rooms.......and listening to them snore..........Oh Lordy!

Ohhh...now thats real funny....yep, I am just rolling....how about you Cyn....isnt that Mel just the funnnnnnnnnnnnniest guy.....Listen Mister the only thing you are going to hear from mine and Cyns rooms are a bunch of hooting and hollering ,laughing and carrying on after we dig all those great finds ....and woe to the person who gets caught in between our rooms ....because there is going to be alot of running back and forth.......Better bring earplugs!

looks like I'm a couple of pages behind so if someone asked me something and I haven't answered it I am sorry I am just too tired to read right now.

You all need to pay for the folks along the coast of Texas, I am just getting home from a sudden trip to Galveston area to deliver some needed stuff like water, food etc.

Reminds me of Ivan here all over again, folks might have their lives, but their livelyhood and memories gone. Least no one shot at us like New Orleans and Katerina.

How many days? 3 weeks isn't it. Guess I better do my laundry now so I have a clean shirt to wear up there in Caldwell.

Judy you guys still taking the scoot? I think I'm gonna just rent a car. I need to go through Ozark County Missourri and look someone up on my way there. I haven't been able to locate him. phone number no good anymore and information says no listing. So you all please pray for me to find him kicking. I will be pretty hurt if he has passed on and I didn't know.

Judie and I spent most of today on the phone just talkin about everything under the sun, they are still takin the scoot unless Aunt and Uncle come then it will be scoot and a car! She still has to go to town to get on internet or go to April and Jays so she does that when she can she will post as able and tring to catch up on it all !
