I talked to Burdie he ordered dry weather for the entire weekend.

I will be getting into Caldwell when the BOSS tells me I will be getting in. She will want to check into the hotel and freshen up and Dylan will need a break from all the driving although we are bringing the van with the DVD player in it for him.

Jeff of Pa is the person that sold me the house in Caldwell. So far he has NOT responded to my inquires as to what happened to that house I bought in Caldwell.

Ok think that about covers it.

I'm not much on lap tops, they're sure are slow. Still no luck on cable/internet, it may be weeks. I'm going nutz not being able to be here daily. The big pin oak that split in half during Gustav, the other half fell over last night. Just missed Jay's new white picket fence and the iron fence around the hay barn lot. I have webbed feet, the water is still up, but not across the road.

Went to my doctor's appt today, it sure is scary sitting in the waiting room, trying not to look at the patients with amputated legs, feet, on crutches or whatever. The toe is painful, but putting off having surgery for as long as I can take it.

I went by the library to use the computer and they're down too, shoot, if I would had known I would had gone to the library in bigger town.

I've been keeping busy making all the little "gifts" for the trail riders.

Y'all take care, I'll see you whenever, I get out again.

RR-Good that you are ok and can get out some.Have you heard from cheesecake?I think he is in Gonzales,Lance delivered a piper cub plane there a few months ago but I know it wasn't for cheesecake.He would need a 737.

WSD never knew the Green Door had Steaks not to say they don't but they have the best flour chips. Mexican food is fantastic. In fact I am getting hungry know thinking about it.

In fact I forgot to tell every one Rob in Kansas is coming back and has another invention to show us.

OK, OK, after intense pressure from a certain T-Net member . I have decided that I couldn't miss out on all this fun. WOW, 31 pages of posts !!!!

I'll be bringing my homemade PI detector on wheels and also my latest PI creation. I don't have any treasures to show but I do have lots of rusty iron and beer cans.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

WOW, that Burdie is fast!! I drove over to see if a field was dry enough to hunt and by the time I get back, Stan's already posted.

I took 2 steps into the field and sank up to my ankles.

Nah, I just now got online, and hoping to remain online for a while (dang whatchacallit box is not working right - and himself just thinks I'm imagining things or something... humpf)

I *think* we're going to leave on Thursday, stop outside of Wichita to visit my friend (remember last CTH? That friend) and her family, then leave for Caldwell on Fri morning.

Cyn, I don't know if you will be eating in Wichita or not, but a good place is Furr's Cafeteria - just sayin' lol

gawd, I can't believe it's this close finally! I've got a workshop to get ready for on Oct 2, and a couple of classes between now and then - & then I'll be able to give my whole attention to gettin' to CTH2! Yay! About dang time, too.

Wow! You guys were busy while I was working! Tomorrow I have to leave early and drive my lady to Portland for some appointment there then go work at my friend's second hand store so we can have it ready to open Friday....sheesh it is after 11 already tonight...worked later there than I thought! I gotta get some sleep!

Thanks for the ideas on places to eat, not sure what the plans are in that respect, will depend on whether the driver gets hungry I guess! lol

Sniffer glad they decided to go ahead with the fesival its hard to think about a tradition not be kept, I have never been able to go but, sometimes there have been so many people there some of them stayed here in Ponca.

We have the Cheerokee Strip Cookoff each year and it has been moved 3 times the Marland Mansion, the lake, the motocross track, then one year they would not let the public in the track (it always flooded) but they would meet you with a taste kit at the gate, then the next year only the cooks their crew and the judges were allowed!


GoGo boots I had about 4 pair of those !
