Well, folks, I am currently sitting in a $30 a night motel room, somewhere in BFE, Illinois........................with a door that doesn't lock very well. Yes, I am sitting here with my 9mm strapped on...just in case. Brought in all of my equipment from the pickup.

The thing that has totally blown my mind is this........while driving through Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois........I looked at the countryside and realized just how beautiful America really is.............despite all of the ignorance and turmoil caused by our impudent politicians.

Now, ME, are you trying to pick on me............trying to outlaw my stump water Heck, politicians have been known for years to lose common sense and drive across the country to dig in dirt.......but that's because they are trying to find all of the illegal money they hid.......LOL And some politicians are digging so they can hide some of the skeletons in their closets. LOL

WSD, doubt that I will be able to join you at the Cracker Barrel............at that time I will be heading towards Blackwell, OK so that I can get the best room at the Super 8...LOL Gad, even the outhouse has to be better than this $30 a night motel I'm staying in at this very moment....LOL

I really am looking forward to meeting all of you.

You need to get at least a 40, but a 45 is much better as it closes the door behind them from the backdraft of them on their way blown back out

We could probably use a canopy. I will not be able to get one this year. Bring chairs I will furnish some.

Stan, I second that. Noodles needs to come.

I did check the laptop's wireless signal just outside the pavillion while in the Jeep. I don't have a satellite card but I did get two signals, (an A and a G that weren't protected). I could get 54kbs but didn't connect. It was only showing 2-3 bars.

Well, Ron and I will not be able to make it...I was hoping we might have a chance, maybe next year.

While ya'll will be having fun at your CTH, we will be having fun at Pipsico for it's 50th Anniversary. Ranger Dan said 1300 folks are registered to be there...it will be crowded, even for 917+ acres of land.

I plan to bring my detector and get some detecting in....let's see what I can find this time.

Then on the 24th, we have our 4 day hunt again!!!

So, ya'll have a blast, find lots of awesome things to post on here for all of us to see and enjoy each others company.....as we will do this weekend and at our hunt weekend!!! And for those travelling a distance to get to this hunt, God be with you and keep you safe to and from!!!
