Stan, I second that. Noodles needs to come.

I did check the laptop's wireless signal just outside the pavillion while in the Jeep. I don't have a satellite card but I did get two signals, (an A and a G that weren't protected). I could get 54kbs but didn't connect. It was only showing 2-3 bars.

now don't forget my FWP membership I need to be shishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhed

And here I was hoping you and Ron would make it so I wouldn't be the only Virginian at the hunt.......but I know you would much rather be with Ranger Dan than with us....{sniff, sniff, ......sniffle.....} **Ann, is it working? LOL I started to call you all before I left Manassas to see if you were going, but once I hit 66 and 81, I was gonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Well, folks, I'm here in Lees Summit, MO visiting with my two brothers. ME and WSD, sorry, but I was really pushing it yesterday.......I had to stop every 100 miles to put air in my front two tires. Don't know what is going on with them........other than they lose 20 pounds of pressure every 100 miles.....LOL

It really was a delight, though, to put gas in my pickup at $2.99 a gal. I took the heeding and decided to take I-70 all of the way instead of I-40. All in all, I saw only 6 state troopers throughout my trip.....and they already had somebody pulled over. I just set my cruise control on, turned up my satellite radio, and listened to nonstop radio. Nice thing was no ads or campaigns about the election on the radio........that was so nice, believe me.

WSD....didn't see any stogies, but did see a lot of roaches though....LOL And, Gypsy, I did happen to see a little old lady rocking in her rocking chair.......LOL

Will be heading out of here come Friday morning, setting my GPS to Blackwell, OK.

Sorry to let you down ... but I know you will represent VIRGINIA well!!!

Oct 10th is Pipsico's 50th Anniversary and our Boy Scout Troop are attending and we will be part of the 1300 registered to attend! This is history in the making and our Troop just can't miss it!!! I'm really excited and told my boys.. "Someday, when you are 61 and 63, you will bring your grandsons here for Pipsico's 100th and be able to tell them you were here for the 50th!!!" So, it should prove to be an exciting weekend (plus I plan to do some detecting and find more shark's teeth and other fossils on the James, since the pickens were not good yesterday when we were there for the teeth!!!)

So, you go and have an awesome time, post pics when you get back and safe travels to you!!!

Ron and Ann,I know your outing with your boys will be exciting.The Boy Scouts have been a positive attribute for many,many young boys.And congratulations on the upcoming Pipsico hunt.I certainly enjoy the reports and pics that always follow.It would be great if CTH/LBH could get together with you guys sometime in the future.Maybe you can think about the Florida hunt coming up in Jan.

Thank you Warsawdaddy...I know this will be a very exciting weekend! It's kinda' nice being a part of history in the making, so to speak!

One of our Tnet members: Ex2User, who hunts with us at Pipsico, gave me a book to read about FOUR MILE TREE: A Jamestown Legacy. Very interesting reading. I found the author and just got off the phone with her. She is a descendent of one of the original owners of Pipsico and of the Ol' Manor House the BSA is having digs done on!!! What a wonderful woman she is!! I am sending her some stuff...as she is really interested in hearing what we have uncovered so far and about the digs and the land in general. So, this Pipsico hunt has really made some great turnabouts for the good! I told her we were writing a book, maybe she can give me some pointers on writing a book!

I heard about the hunt in Florida and we were just talking about it yesterday....I would love to go to that one as well. I will see how things look for Jan....as of right now, we are planning to drive to Colorado the day after Christmas and return home a few days after New Years...so we will see how things go. So much to do...so little time

But I wish you all a wonderful time, alot of amazing finds, great converstation, great food and spirits, but mostly importantly, safe travels!!! I look forward to seeing ya'll's post when you return! Maybe I'll be able to post something from our 50th!!! We can share our adventures for that weekend!!

My old and new Rowdy Bunch friends (are we still allowed to use that term on the internet or in Caldwell?) can't wait to see you all. From what I hear this is gonna be another get together for the books. I've been out of the net so long that I hope I can remember to turn my machine on. I'll have to get some help I suppose! I tell you what I didn't forget........the way to Caldwell!!!!!! Had such a great time there last time that it's imprinted on my brain... Although BB and ME may wonder how in the heck I can remember much. Ha, ha!!!! Promise I'll be good ME! Schloopy won't be with me this time unless I can get ahold of him in the next couple days. He's been MIA since June!
Trying to decide if I want to leave Thurs night or Fri morn. That breakfast at CB in Springfield sounds good. WD has asked me to show up and I may just do that.
Once agian......can't wait to see everyone and have a grand time. Seems there will be some new faces in the crowd so I'm excited to meet the newbies also... We'll have to have a Rowdy Bunch initiation!!!!! Oh wait, hazing was outlawed sometime ago!! Dang!!!

Noodles, we can try. Still have the website and password from the LBH for live feed. Don't know if the signal will be strong enough to stay online though. Have to be fairly close to a router. Will be heading up early enough Fri. and will check it out more. I just checked with the laptop inside the Jeep to see if anything made contact, don't know about inside the bldg.
