christmas wish list

for Christmas, I asked my parents for a metal detector -- we live close to a civil war battle field, and there's a lot of older areas... I'm sure I'll find something...

now I just need to find good places to search ----have a few ideas.... am going to start in some open fields, parks, etc -- new to this, but I've always been a lucky sort... so, maybe I'll quickly be able to buy a stronger md after a few outings...


are civil war battlefields off limits?

I have been using a worst detector than that and i have found great stuff, you will love it Civil war battlefields are off limits, but try asking the property owners adjacent to the battlefields.
