City Park find was a "Sure Shot"
Took a trip to the local city park sunday morning, and found $1.07 in newer change including 7 nickles( I never find nickles, I think I'm finally learning what they sound like), 1 quarter, 1 dime, and the rest pennies. While searching the woodchips in the tot lot I got a good signal in the gold range (24VDI) and found a charm at 4" deep I have know idea what it's made of, ( gold I hope) it looks to be hand molded or very cheaply made. It has the word faith on it. It's definitely not lead, any ideas? I found some on google that were similar but not quite it. I also found what I believe to be coal mine scrip from Omar, WV. Any scrip experts out there? All in all it was a pretty good day I left knowing there was lots still to dig. Oh and I found a shot glass and two empty bottles of MD20/20 from the night before, on and around one of the picnic tables. I half expected to find the owners passed out near by... LOL!!
