Hey, Still at it pretty hard. Hitting a civil war era home site and a colonial site..



Not a good feeling when I pop this Block I, one piece button out of the hole, I broke it with my shovel. :BangHead: :sadsmiley:

I may be too optimistic here but I think if you have the other part of the button you could probably reconstruct it with some super glue. Then get some gold leaf at an art supply store and put it over the front of the button. Consider it some extreme conservation... like fixing up a classic car and putting new paint on it. That's just an idea. That being said I'd be mad too if I did that.

I found a few little tiny pieces and that was it.. :(
