Hello! I’m trying to find some info on this badge. I found close to other dug items dating from 1790-1850s.
I can make out a few letters with a loop. Gonna try to find out what family lived there at the time.

One thing I forgot to mention in your "Today's Finds" post is that the majority of these civilian ID tags were masonic in nature.
