Cleaning Bottles by Boiling

I never tried to boil bottles to clean them, i would think there is a better chance for them to crack if you do, not sure but thats what I think might happen. from my own experience, Ive dug old bottles and had some nice ones crack after cleaning them in tap hot water. Good luck.

Small bits of copper shot, or just cut copper wire and a bit of water...But watch the flasks as they are very thin and will pop on ya. :thumbsup: jgas

I use THE WORKS toilet cleaner ( buy it at dollar tree)... you fill bucket with water add the cleaner to water as much as u think is needed... then place the bottles in the water let soak 2-3 days or til they look clean... some will need to be brush cleaned after rise... you want to clean as soon as you take out of soak... On more thing... Never use bare hands when using this stuff or you will get mild chemical burning to your skin....
