Clinton Township Question

I am in a class this week in Clinton Township off of Elizabeth Road. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a place to metal detect at lunch or after the class? I'm not familiar with the east side I tried a nature trail behind the Department of Public Works today but no luck.

have you tried along the Clinton River behind the cemetery and the humane society north of Dunham Rd. off of Elizabeth Lake Rd.
