Clonial Silver Cufflink Pair +++

[Rick (Nova Scotia)]

OK I'd better start by saying that I didn't find the cufflinks, but was found by my Very good friend Friend67 (freddy67)

We tried a couple of good spots of mine, and the Silver Streak I was on didn't end He (Freddy67) also got a complete silver spoon (please post a pic. of the hall marks), and I got a BIG leaf thing. Which has no marks, but I know from the weight and look of it , it is Silver.
Shinny heavy, and soft, I scratched the bach side with a pin.
So end of story, and the pics. to follow. However I must say that the last few (3) hunts I've been on I've got a BIG piece of Silver each time...27, 58, 11 grams about 90+ grams...I ask how cool is that ?

[CRUSADER]

I would say those nice cufflinks are tombac.

Always nice to see a hunts button.

[gwdigger]

Great finds. The cufflinks are remarkable, whatever metal they are. The toning does make them look like silver from here.

[Rick (Nova Scotia)]

I need to add more pics.

Sorry, ...thanks Crusader.

Very cool

[Iron Patch]

The link is obviously the clear winner, but better to see something come out than nothing at all!

That's another thing I'm due for... a cool cufflink!

[against the wind]

You're on a nice silver streak.
Congrats

Glad your getting out more now RIck and getting some great finds. Grass is going down some in spots out this way. Looks like another year we didn't get out hunting together but maybe 2016 will be the year we do! [emoji106]

[ironhorse]

Keep it up Rick!
You'll probably dig a ton by the end of the year if you keep getting your coil over the silver!
Good luck buddy!

Rick,

Good score on the cufflinks....not often found in a pair I would think.

Yeah, if CRU saw the back side he'd agree (I think) Silver.

And my 2 coins, Can. LCs 1859, and an Edward.

Agreed, the back looks more like silver. This is one of the few times that I wish it were in my hands. I will take your guys judgement, because from here I could flip a coin.

[johnnyblaze]

Rick another hunk of silver eh
Either silver or Tombac those links are a killer find..Any pair is hard to get..

~Blaze~

[CRUSADER]

PS. Even as a whole tombac example it would be great, as a silver, I think you know the answer.

[testing123]

what a beautiful piece of old silver. Don't see many of those posted!
