Coin collecting

I was wondering if anyone is building their coin collections while CRHing. The way I figure it the coin collections will go up in value as the ratio of collectible coins in the wild goes down. Besides CRHers go through enough volume to make some phenomenal finds. Seems the loss of a couple silvers now and then would be worth it for a long term investment. Any thoughts on this? How is your coin collections doing with your finds?

Roll hunting is a great way to build a collection, not so much for quality, but for quantity of finds. I leave the quality finds to dirtfishing.

Every single one of my coins in my collection have been acquired from the proceeds(net) of hunting. I've never spent out of pocket money for a collectible coin.

Of course. I've filled the jefferson nickel book and almost filled the lincoln cents books (1909-1959 and 1959-2009) from CRH. I'm gonna buy the buffalo nickel book but it will take a good long while to fill it (may have to actually buy a few spots.)

I've done CRH for cents and nickels for years to fill holes in my books, love it. I also started a kennedy album when I started CRH halves. I still need my 70D. Also slowly filling a Frankie album, but that will take forever, if it ever does get completed.

I buy most of my silver since I cant really crh for it , but I do fill folders while I search penny and nickel boxes. Found a BU 1934 wheat cent in a garda roll. Its in my folder now, but its not worth that much because of the high mintage.

I have found some neat coins during my CRH career and filled some holes in my album but I actually pick up scrap junk beside the road and recycle aluminum cans. I use all the money I collect to purchase for my coin collection and I picked up a ton of ASE back when silver was $19 and since I used money from scrap collecting, it was like finding all that silver in the back alleys or road side.

I also have always had a passion for foreign coins and it seems like CRH will help with that, too. I have found a large variety of foreign in ordinary rolls to add to my collection.
