I've really been enjoying my new Coinmaster GT. What a great machine.

Found these 2 silver beauties just recently.....

I've read some posts about the GT having a cheap feel, or that its not that great.
Well, those folks have probably never used the GT. It's build quality is very good, and it has features you can't get on other machines in that price range. My hats off to Whites.

The issue that was talked about was the way whites uses the spring loaded buttons to hold the shaft together. If you move bank and forth, short and fast like you need to do sometimes it can feel a bit wobbly. But not an issue at all.. You can never please all the people all the time!

Congrats Kenny!

You're right airscapes.
I don't have that wobble problem at all. The poles fit together very tight......
And if I get that little problem, its an easy fix.

Thanks Bart!!!!!!!

My gt has the wobble ......I want a cam lock for it.

I've got the wobble - especially with the pee wee shaft. I agree, the detector would be tolerable with a cam lock. I've tried to purchase the s rod for the mx5 ( which would work), but White's will not sell me one.

Very nice finds. Proof it doesn't take a $1000+ machine to find treasure. If your not in the right locations it doesn't matter how much your machine costs. Congrats!!!!!!

You would think they would be happy to sell you one .. It is not like they are giving it to you .. I always thought there service would be better than that.. Did you call Whites at Sweet Home or did you call one of the other service centers ?

sweet home is your best bet... and if you call them both for a replacement part... you will get two replacement parts

Yes at sweet home they would more than likely to sell him the shaft he wants..At all there other service centers they seem worthless to me..

Sweet Home 3x - they tried to sell me something else. I guess the s rod for the mx5 is not for sale.

Awesome!! Thats a great machine!

I never thought they would do that .. Did you ask why?

Tell them you have a MX5 and you broke the s rod in half and need to buy a new replacement.

Tried that. The only way I could "fix my MX5" was to send it in. No good reason given for why this part is not available to purchase.

I guess I'll just keep waiting. I'm sure it will be available sooner or later. They probably have not sold enough MX5s to bother yet.

Now that is a good idea to bad it did not work … Could be they get those rods from China or some place like that and extra ones are hard to come by..

Have you tried the GT in bottle cap infested areas? My is so sweet and silent, but still hits the coins

My gt reads 59 on bottle caps.
