Coin Store Hunting

My favorite coin store has a large bin of 50% off foreign coins that I often look through to look for silver. I ended up with a 1950 Canadian dime that was only $0.75 after the discount!
Some of the other coins looked silver, but i wasn't sure... All I know is the years and denominations for American and Canadian coins.

Does anyone have a list or website that breaks down which years/ denominations are silver by country?

also, you should invest $20-30 on a standard catalog of world coins (1900-2000) versioin off amazon. I use mine all the time, amazing book!

Just about every country I can think of has minted silver coins at one time or another. The list of countires and years that silver were minted itself is too long to enumerate in a thread.

When i need to verify something dealing with foreign coins I use Numista. It is very good for on-line reference.
