Found this today hunting a lot in a neighborhood with houses built in the twenties. Too worn to read, reverse side is worn smooth but you can tell it had a border like the front. Size of a fifty cent piece. Vladimir Lenin ?

From you picture it appears that you have a large English penny. The figure is of King Edward, and the dates would fall with the reign of this monarch. Great find!

To me that looks more like a circa 1850s-1860s France 10 centimes of Napoleon III.

It's not British, I agree with Bramblefind, The bust is Napolean 3rd.
