Cold Mountain air coming in.

Last evening out with the muts on a walk I couldn't see the mountains because of the cold air sweeping in to the warmer air on the front range. As soon as it hit the warm air those clouds would bellow up high quickly. Looking to the east it was getting pretty dark with clouds and the weather man was warning of strong storms with tornado conditions possibly over the eastern plains. this is a nice little cool front coming in. It's still 56 degrees as I write this here at 8:18am. I think I'll take a break and go for a walk, as Friday we'll be back up in the 90's again. Still we haven't have any triple digits this year where I live. Thats odd. I'm thinking the climate has once again changed as it has all my life. What's up with that

Already feels like fall here. Upper 30's lower 40's for me last night, but 31 up on Vail Pass this a.m.

It's 92 feeling like a 105 outside right now, woke up and it still 71 outside at 6am this morning. I'd welcome something a little less wet tee bag feeling outside right now.

When I lived in Sacramento it was 103, 104 and times 106+. I don't know why heat like that didn't bother me so much out there. I know in the Mile High City when it gets up to 90 I feel like I'm being nuked slowly into bacon. Must be that lack of atmosphere to filter out the sun rays. Don't worry California, Arizona and Texas. A big change is said to be on the way. Heavy storms in California signify return of El Niño - CBS News
