tottaly driving me nuts trying to get a picture of what i see on my phones screen compared to the results after the pucture.. every slight slight movement changes what I'm seeing on the coin..I see cartoonist look in pics then I see gold numbers ..then dragons.. but can't see anything unless I zoom in a bit.. sorry for the pics.. maybe a video will show it better.. lemme see

Due to the thickness it looks American. With that being said, look at the coins 1793 to about 1840. See if anything matches.

Size of 1700's KG Half Penny, but 25 found in 150' diameter sounds strange. All toasty? What else did you find in this area? Can you post a group pic?

so far in this one area roughly 60ft circle.. I've found 1980-88 pennies a inch deep roughly or early 1803-1910 u.s coins. and they were all like 2 to 4 inches deep..butt with all these ones that I can't identify roughly 30. all similar size..with in mm 's in size . I'm usually digging 6 to 10 inches deep. today a had a hour to kill and found 1 more like my 30, but in the same hole next too it I found this one here. it's 20.60mm round and
1.76 thick. I'll post a few pics of this new one now and shortly I'll post a group pic of everything I've found in the same 20ft area20171222_225707.webp20171222_225707.webp20171222_222537.webp20171222_222508.webp

This one is a Shield Nickel, 1860-1880ish. You might be onto something significant here.

all this is what I've found on the same hilltop.. it's a undeveloped Large chunk of woods located in a big city.. just north of boston.. ive researched the area on the web. I found maps that go back to 1700. and all i can figure out is possibly -its history and possibke reason its untouched land . and still untouched, especially in a city like this.. we're there building house on top of house. is because of fresh Ground drinking wa.ter..but that theory is only my conclusion..from reading maps and local history- so it may be wrong..but the minute I first stepped on that hill ..my Brain kept makeing me think about sumthing i read about capt. cooks treasure supposivly never found .And supposed to be Burried Less than a amile away. and probblibly to many discovery channel treasure shows at the time i think ,all drove me nuts for week!! but for whatever reason I had sum need to get myself a metal detector and get back up there and find that treasure..so i ran out bought my first m.detector ever.. and amazingly i never come home empty handed.. its the First spot Ive ever m. D ... now I can't get enough..I'll go no matter what ! like a bad habit this week .. rain snow , today Tonight with a flash light in the dark..I wish I got into this hobby sooner20171223_005733.webp20171223_005733.webp20171223_010040.webp20171223_010040.webp20171223_010040.webp20171223_010040.webp1514011243292582171353.webp I Dunno what il Do once the Ground Freezes. thegood th ing is theproperty owner Told me I can DO whatever I want up there

You'd think there would be something to see on these. I wonder out loud if they are blanks. As in never struck. The bullet is a Civil War period minie ball.

some do look like blanks .. but most i can make out details.. I'm going nuts trying to get pictures that catch the details..
