I got out this morning to my 1766 land patent farm that I received permission at over the weekend. I had a decent day in the field. I dug the 1853 Braided Hair large cent at 6" and it read 90 VDI. The Dandy button was a double-blipper and was on top of the ground. The holed artifact is a tombac button that was made into a washer.

Keep the passion high!

Nice LC and button. I found an 1832 LC the other day and let my family hold it. It took on a different meaning once they held it and felt the substantial weight of the copper, and the size.

My point is those LCs always feel real nice and chunky in the hand, and that never gets old. Congrats on the finds and keep zapping those grounds because we all want to see more!
