Next show is Dec. 6&7. I'll be there Saturday morning to look around. I am a member so I can get in a little early and a guy there is interested in buying a WW2 PX dagger I have. If you're going I'll PM you with my cell number if you'd like to meet just to say Hi. I do know one of the best antique sword experts there though and would be glad to introduce you to him. Lemme know if you plan to attend.

I've seen that design before & think I've seen it on long guns as well as pistols. But a good match for it is a brass barrel blunder bust. If I was you I'd check that area good cause that big brass barrel would & should sing a nice tone when you find it.

Anther good match...either way they seem to be on brass barrel guns so same deal on finding that barrel if it's there?? They also seem to be on the finer type pistols.
