Seem to do better with the compadre so far ,I like them both .I can cover more ground with silver umax .the compadre relly shines in trashy areas with the smaller coil.still learning the sounds ,but its starting to come around .haven't found anything of great value yet.having a ball so far .to many hobbys and not enough time.started building another recumbent bicycle.forgot how much time it takes it build one out of donor bikes .

Keep at it 223, we all get side tracked from time to time but the R/R gained always takes you back to digging.

Welcome to the site and hope to see those finds come for ya soon.

The Compadre is the "budget priced" detector that you'll never want to get rid of! Always has a usefulness/place in your arsenal!
