Contest hunt - day 1 - keepers & fart machine
Hello to all.
I had a great day of detecting for Day 1 of 2 for my contest hunt.
I hit two schools and I saw a small park while going to the third school, so I stopped in there instead. I ended up spending 2 full hours at the park digging and digging. I spent 2:15 at the first school and 45 minutes at the second school for a total of 5 hours hunting time.
I found some nice items pictured below. I really like the skull and crossbones found at school 1. Perfect!! A small silver ring at school 2. I don't think the park woodchip area had ever been detected, I was busy. I got my nicest keeper there. A Gold plated hallmarked 925 Tennis bracelet containing 42 nice princess cut stones (CZ's). It is very pretty and in perfect shape. The safety clasp and regular clasp don't seem to hold very well and that's probably how it got lost? I can tighten that up though.
Found that near a tree that was in the woodchip area. It made my day.
I also found a Dr. Fart machine! It was under the play equipment laying on the chips. It still works and was providing me a lot of entertainment today because as my pouch filled up, every time I bent over to dig a signal, the items in my pouch would depress one of the buttons on the fart machine and it would let out a stinker. Good thing no one was there to hear this as they would have thought that I had some big problems going on.
I will post all my finds from both days in a thread tomorrow. For now, here's some shots of today's fave finds and my nice keeper bracelet.
