Finally, after years of confusion, the puzzle pieces
are coming together. Yeah!!!
As of yesterday, a copper pot with blue and white streaks, and a copper bucket found under our rectangle 10x30
Cattle feed barn matched
the ceremonial gifts offered
to the underworld spirits.
This ritual practice started
with theAlgonkian then many followed such as the Ojibwa,
Iroquois etc......my find is ancient and I've felt it in my gut for years about that old barn....more details later, but
I've checked off settlement,
burial mounds, designated
Ceremonial location, tool chipping circles and more...
Gosh, this is fun!! Thankyou
for reading my first share...

It's an ancient chamber pot and it is still full of s***.
Actually, with a lid of the same color and material my Maternal Grandparents used exactly that vessel as a chamberpot up into the early 1960s.They were very poor. I don,t know where these people come from or what their motivation is,if it,s to grab a few yuks,no problem,I like to do that too. But fess up after a while so we know.

My maternal grandmother used one similar too except hers had a pot belly, had a lid and was white accented with a red ring around the brim of the pot and lid. Hers was used primarily at night in the 1960's too.

Yee olde thunder bucket!
Grandpa just used a coffee can.

Not that I know of.
Was corn out back of his last place if he wanted any.
His travels and labor during the great depression hinted a cob might have been welcomed at times though.
You use a red one then a white one to see if you need another red one!

I found a lot of stone tools and effigies around the same area, but , no biggie, I've been wrong a million times and right a
thousand times...the pot is
globe shaped and hammered.....
Really want to see the "effigies " pictures.
