I know this has come up before how one copper can be so rotted, and another only feet away can be in good shape, well that is my senario today, in fact this site gave me mostly totally toasted coppers, three times there since last fall (it's quite big) this is by far the best one. You got to get lucky once in awhile. (just like I told Johnny B)
It was a super georgeous day (spell check that) here in Cold Country, I know it was above 60 F at one point. I did have a snow shot, but deleted that clip. Anyway I did find a nice copper, definitely in the top ten for the year, condition wise. The 1823 is not a rare coin by any stretch, but still far more scarce than the 1832, a nice find...I'm happy with, being that it is as late in the season as it is. Cool.
The Video is very short, and pretty much self explanatory. The copper as found, not cleaned except for a little rub with paper towel.
