Cornfield gives me not 1 but 2 1800's coins

Hi all. If you've been reading my posts this week, you know I skipped the 1800's and got a 1700's KGII. I went back this afternoon for about 2 1/2 hours. As you can see from the pics, I got 2 LC's. Apparently this field is not good for large coppers. If anyone can advise on cleaning, I will be very grateful. Both coins were very good signals as they were only a couple inches down. At least now I can be happy with my first year's finds. Coins from 1700's, 1800's, 1900's and 2000's make me excited. Thanks for looking.

With large cents the CORROSION IS THE DETAIL you see. Take away the corrosion and the detail disappears.

I was happy to see a post by Old Dude, then realized this is from 3 years ago. I've been wondering where he is?
