You have a nice Champion lock! The fancy piece is a clock pendulum. I'm not sure what the other piece is.

although the one piece does look like a pendulum it could very well be the top of a letter opener similar to this one made of pewter

I know that I have seen an example of your UFO ( Unidentified Found Object) but for the life of me can't place it. What age is your area? 1700's, 1800's, 1900's. It looks like that metal object fit on a round wooden object like a broom stick. Any help you can give on age of your area/history would help us help you. Awesome finds. Cheers!
