Snow and ice still around here, but so was cabin fever, so I slogged half a mile through cutover, ice, and mud to this old chimney. Found tons of old iron pieces plus these three--an old smokehouse lock and two whatsits. I'm sure someone out there has some answers!

although the one piece does look like a pendulum it could very well be the top of a letter opener similar to this one made of pewter

I know that I have seen an example of your UFO ( Unidentified Found Object) but for the life of me can't place it. What age is your area? 1700's, 1800's, 1900's. It looks like that metal object fit on a round wooden object like a broom stick. Any help you can give on age of your area/history would help us help you. Awesome finds. Cheers!
