Wow. Steel war cents are cool. Great find.

awesome finds. Keep us updated as you go through more. :-)

Wow nice finds. I just did a box and didn't find a single wheat. Just a lot of copper.

[hotrod]

awsome! post results

[Rascal]

A few dozen boxes of cents and all I have to show is a solitary steel cent, and nothing older than 1920. Now two members are posting practically insane cent finds. I am starting to border on jealousy.

Happy hunting folks. Silver, wheats or steelies - they are all still out there.

Nice scores.

[Digesting a common clad]

Are those lead pennies worth big bucks.

[hokiemojo]

never found a steelie in a box, but it might be because i search brinks. I think they remove magnetic coins before wrapping. i wonder how our searches will change if the mint starts making steel coins again? Probably a lot more foreign junk in my boxes.

I will occasionally through in a few steel cents with my dump. Hoping it may spark the interest to who finds them.

Will post my AMAZING results tomorrow! Thanks guys!

NICE! I have never had that much luck in a roll or even a box. Best I ever had was 2 wheats in 1 roll

Are those lead pennies worth big bucks.

They are steel, not lead. Also, their value is only like a quarter, unless they are BU.
