Let's set the mood, it was 10 PM, the moon was nearly full but I still needed to wear my head lamp. I was in a wooded area hunting an abandoned old church, the wind was rustling the leaves and I could hear coytoes in the distance. I was hunting around a large oak tree when I got an 82 on the AT Pro. but it was a little scratchy but I dug anyway expecting a copper fitting or piece of pipe and out popped a round object. Looking in the light of my lamp I thought I had a crotal bell but I all most freaked when I turned it over. I think I found a new avitar

Yes, it still rolls up as you pivot it. It is mounted in a brass housing.

Intriguing, I wonder what the background behind it is...Single doll eye underneath an old oak tree near an abandoned church. Makes for a good story and a bit of mystery. Are doll eyes prone to popping out? Well, we now know of at least one that has, or was it plucked? hmmm...

Well this thread was a lot of fun, much more fun then finding my eyeball. But it just goes to show that you just never know what you are going to bring home the next time you go out, could be an eyeball or it could be a gold coin. Anyway it's been a blast and I have enjoyed reading everybodies comments so I will keep an "eye" on this thread (wink, wink) for more hilarious comments.
