Back from VA feel a little better about my situation only because I think I was prepared. For all veterans if I can share anything it's document, document document. Stay involved in yor medical treatment, maintain copies of ALL medical records and don't be afraid to ask questions or get a second opinion!!!!!! Thanks gang for all of your support now I have to wait for the outcome, but that's ok

Everyone should be pro-active and stay informed, as to their own bodies, health, and mental well-being! You are the only one, that truly has a vested interest in, YOU! We like to think others care, and some do, but the bottom line is, you cannot expect another to live your life or be in charge of it, unless you're a prisoner.
Don't be afraid to talk to doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals! They are ppl, just like us or anyone!
In fact, most the doctors I know, wish ppl would take a more active interests in their better well being, than just relying on them to medicate symptoms, and forgetting about the causes.

(just general speak here, no specifics, not targeted at anyone in particular)
