CRISPINS CRITTERS

View attachment 899180My blue, blue 66 an ex sold for 100.00. Guess who I miss?

RC, Buddy,
I feel ya, Brother.
But, what can you do when you can't get rid of someone or something?
Like this....

"Mr. Dan Hicks and His Fabulous Hot Licks"

A "Redneck" version of "Fatal Attraction?"
Might be.
I got a screenplay half written on just such a topic....
(Call me@; #BR549)

So many Songs,
So many Stories,
So little Time,
So few Friends...

Best,

Scott

One other thing that has occupied my week is a meeting with a woman,
through a Friend's Friend who showed me a large notebook of old currency.

I met with her after helping my locksmith Friend the other evening and was BLOWN AWAY!

An initial meeting, potential investment here....

---------------------------

We met, and she pulled a large notebook of obsolete currency from a backpack.

I had my latest currency valuation catalog,
and we "dickered."

I was fair, honest and
it's getting late, and being mostly broke, and owing my landlord,
I wasn't able to indulge as much as I wanted....

Here's what I DID buy...

(I later learned that one of these notes is a "Sleeper," worth much more than what I paid....)

I really wanna keep 'em all, but I'm hungry...
I'm thinking of which ones to keep and which to sell...

Seems that Kay has more collectibles that I have knowledge of values and such,
like stamps, sports cards, toys, glassware and ceramics, and, gosh!
We have begun talks of a partnership on possible high-end marketing of collectibles.
She's a bit "gun-shy" of your "main-stream" dealers and was looking for someone that she could trust.
Oops, here comes Scott.

Did I mention that she's only a couple of years older than me?
And good looking?
Maybe I talk too much?

"Yeah, Andy, I told ya I was a Casanova.
Yep. Women can't resist the charms of ole Scott."

Best,

Scott

PS.
Don,
See anything of those bills that you like? Perhaps the "Sleeper?"

Say and think what you will Dave, I was just responding to my chum's post.... Remember, this Thread is not a place for such nonsense so quit looking for something that is not here.

As I have always believed, and stated,
If someone says or believes something that you don't agree with,
Hope that they may see other angles, lights and opinions and change.
Not just for your view, but for the better.
If not, so what?

No need to fight or argue; time has always shown to prove the truth.

Best,

Scott

"Now, hold on there, Missy...." (spit of cigar end)

"No one offered me any wine.
I'm sure that if it was said about drinkin' wine,
Folks would be hearing a tale of me and a tale of you."
(spits yet another cigar piece of tobacco)

"When they say, "Crazy," are they talkin' 'bout you or me?"

{wind blows lightly from the left and behind me; the sun is in your eyes....}

Scott

Oh, and the highlight of my day today was accompanying my locksmith Friend to a job at a local bank.
I opened a safe deposit box.
Soon, we will open 10-12 boxes...once the bank's paperwork is finalized.....

Simple!

Best,

Scott

Hey Guys,

I'm putting myself on time out again. I can't have people attacking me professionally. No thread or point is worth that kind of thing. Good luck on breaking 10,000 and more. I'll check back in around x-mas to say hello.

Control your emotions or somebody else will,

Crispin

Be Strong!

Scott

Dave,
Stand Down, Brother....

And,

'Cause this tune has permeated my brain for the past few days,
And folks wonder when I sleep,
I seldom sleep, when I do, it is with one eye open...
A bit of wisdom that I've picked up is,
"Not every shut eye is sleeping or dead,"
and,
Well,

Dammit so much, The weekend starts NOW!

Let's all party!
You ready, Player?
Break yourself and
Let's get real.....

Best,

Scott

'Cause, will tomorrow be here, for you or me?

While y'all sleep, Scott is awake and connecting with songs of relevance....
not just to you, but to Scott.
Songs like this, that Scott plays his guitar to.....

Someday I'll be smart....

One more song, my Friends,

Until we meet again....

My Best,

Scott

"I Know You're Out There Somewhere"

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The mist is lifting slowly
I can see the way ahead
And I've left behind the empty streets
That once inspired my life
And the strength of the emotion
Is like thunder in the air
'Cos the promise that we made each other
Haunts me to the end

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The secret of your beauty
And the mystery of your soul
I've been searching for in everyone I meet
And the times I've been mistaken
It's impossible to say
And the grass is growing
Underneath our feet

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

[Interlude:]
You see I know you're out there somewhere
O yes I know you're out there somewhere
You see I know I'll find you somehow
O yes I know I'll find you somehow

the words that I remember
From my childhood still are true
That there's none so blind
As those who will not see
And to those who lack the courage
And say it's dangerous to try
Well they just don't know
That love eternal will not be denied

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

Yes I know it's going to happen
I can feel you getting near
And soon we'll be returning
To the fountain of our youth
And if you wake up wondering
In the darkness I'll be there
My arms will close around you
And protect you with the truth

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

Hmm...Rubber Soul.
The Beatles.
Somebody's thinking like Scott.
Or Scott is thinking like somebody...

Anyway,

"This just in...A FULL Beatles album, titled, "Rubber Soul."

{Yes, I also have this album. 2-3 different pressings....}

Enjoy!

1966... GREAT LP (CD)! I remember being SHOCKED at how long their hair was; they were smoking "funny weed", then...

As someone who is neither liberal or conservative, I would like to say that although I don't know what post you are referring to re crisp. ...that my feeling re personal and professional, is that taking part on this thread is strictly personal not professional for any of us! Hopefully no insults or reference to ones professional life will be made by others...

This thread is moving so quickly I can't find the last reference to Red Red Wine. NWS, I offer this version--amazing how these guys can sing so well while still chewing gum !!
Don......

Please keep all politics out of This thread.

On another note....

Let me be REAL CLEAR, anyone who attacks Crispin for his professional career, about him in his career or how he conducts his career or ANYTHING to do with him in his career will not like the results, this applies to everyone and I MEAN EVERYONE!

We will NOT go quitely into the night!

Scott, I offered you and everyone wine, back under that Beatle song (that you quoted, btw), LOL!
You was flying so fast, you missed your chance! LOL!
That's ok, there's still plenty in the fridge, if not, I've been an ABC cardholder,
since '83. :laughing7:

Thanks Sir Crispin for always being a kind soul. I don't know what happened but people really need to grow up.....can't wait to read your next post here where you belong
