Crispin,

Next time they give you grief just post up this song...

Hey guys,

I've been attacked professionally in the Health forum of Everything Else. I would appreciate any support you can give me. Personal attacks on my profession make it very difficult for me to stay a member of this community.

The usual suspect again eh? There is, or was a Thread recently where you were attacked professionally (just previous to your recent self imposed time out) and everyone was sternly warned that another attack against your career would result in a very long time out. :dontknow: We'll see what becomes of that, time will tell. Chin up my friend and don't let that kind of garbage get to you, you're bigger than that. :icon_thumleft:

Looks like we have the same taste in movies and shows,, how does that happen? Great avatar,, again.

ummm soulmates?

Yay! :hello2:

I got my Student webpage up again!

Here's the new URL:

"GIT 'ER HERE"

I've got TONS of updating to do....

-------------

TGF,
Had to open a file box today that someone had maliciously squirted
some type of silicone sealant in the keyhole.
A lot of folks have heard of squirting super-glue to accomplish either vandalism or juvenile-type delinquency,
come to think of it, that IS vandalism---

Anywhich, the box was similar to this...

sentry firebox.webp

I used a large screwdriver on the front plastic face and it popped off fairly easily....

IMG_1121.webp

After the customer left, I disassembled the lock and dug out all of the goop,
replaced the springs, cleaned the wafers and put it all back together.
The customer left the keys knowing that he wouldn't need them anymore.

It now works slick, although....

It's still basically worthless at this point,
but performing this unnecessary extra work allowed me to add to my data base of knowledge.

I'll have to investigate a solvent for silicone and super-glue....???

-----------------

Crispin, Buddy,

I'm sorry to hear that someone has chosen to personally attack your expertise.

If I read you correctly, you are a lot like me.....
Avoid any conflict, do not engage in conflicts, leave if the situation escalates,
don't engage with half-wits because they have had more experience in their arguments
and you will be led off topic just to explain what everybody but them know,
and, just think to yourself about the antagonist,
as you stride away with the confidence of your education and experiences,

"It must really suck to be you."

Then, later, you can review the discourse without having the interruptions of the troll?
The professional antagonist?
Whomever....

Keep your chin up proud, kid, but always watch for a right hook! :icon_thumright:

Sir Crispin my friend like I have stated before- never argue with an idiot they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience! Would the horses ass that continues to assault my friend care to challenge me to the field of honor wit Airsoft tomorrow?

Wow!
Perusing my web page,
I see that a lot of links that had any HTML code* of the previous web page will have to be re-written again----
Before I can update my stock of goods...:BangHead:

OK.

I can do that.
After all, it is colder outside and I'll be spending more time inside....

"Golllllly, Scott, you know how to do that?"

"Yes, and perfection of entered type is the only way that it will function.
That's why I am such a stickler of my posts. It comes second nature to me"

Best,

Scott

I suppose you can see the reason of my efforts to preserve all of the work I had put into this project.
It has truly been a labor of love.

This January, it will have been on the intranets for 4 years.

As some may already know, the key to living a long, full life not only includes physical exercise,
(metal detecting is one of the best that I've found)
but also work on keeping those brain synapses from getting rusty.

Yep, work them crossword puzzles, word searches, or my favorite, Sudoku!
Hang around kids as much as you can, and,
of course, find time to love our animal friends!

Oh, and that check from the college?
I have no clue. Haven't even looked into it yet.
Had to work on the web page....Priorities, ya know...

I'll inquire when I'm on Campus again for the Spring Semester.
For now, I've deposited it into one of my bank accounts and it sits idle....

I have several unidentified "Hot Wheels" cars that I've picked up at various thrift stores over the summer and some also found with my metal detector.
I've probably got 60-80 now....
And all but about a dozen are ID'd.

Awhile back, I posted a car that I had found with my metal detector that was worth $60!

http://www.southtexasdiecast.com/hwguide.html

Does anyone have knowledge specifically or know of another website to help me ID these cars?

I'm going to create a new sub-category in "Collectibles" on my student Web page just for die cast.

I'll probably use one of these two songs for the sub-category....

or this....

What's your vote?

Best,

Scott

Scott,

You never cease to amaze me my friend. Danzig.... Really? Here's Johnny Cash covering one of his tunes. Heck, here's a few of Glen's tunes that I think you'll dig, you rock. :headbang:

I would take this song into consideration too eh?

I have a little inside information on that event,, and not all is as reported here. Funny how cliquish some places are.

Having said that.. I looked at that that forum, and I don't know what happened, but I know enough that my opinion on that forum would mean nothing, I have no idea about drugs, prescription or not. I look occasionally at the natural remedy theories.
