I'm missing something here.

What does what kind of hat you are wearing have to do with?
Well this may be outta context, but, that's what I got out of it. :laughing7:
Must be the fever! LOL!

Does anyone remember, when John Belushi did Joe Cocker on SNL, with Joe Cocker?
I've searched for that clip, can't find it anywhere. That was one of the good ones. :notworthy:

Crispin,

This guy could probably help you out in a pinch....

Quick question for you folks...theoretical that is. Let us pretend that you do not own a gun and have never shot a gun in your life. Now, let us pretend that you find yourself in the unfortunate situation to believe that you and your family may be in imminent danger. You, theoretically, take stock of your samurai sword and guard puppy and decide that just ain't cutting it. Who would you call with you life and the life of your family on the line? I know who I would call.

DJs...if you please...a dedication to TH and GIB....the Beatles, "I get by with a little help from my friends."

God bless all,

Crispin

Ps. "Never shall innocent blood be shed, yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The Three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of God!"

OMG, that was one funny show.

Can't play it now homie- not politically correct anymore.

Jim Carey as Fireman Bill if I remember correctly- tooooo phunny.

Oh yeah, and the bum in the cardboard box that had a pickle jar for a toilet---- classic comedy

GIB, I know I should feel bad, for every teeny bopper I ever made fun of, back in the day. Ya know,
me being just, too cool for school, and all...... 8-)
I know you're trying, but the Bay City Rollers, :BangHead: pls don't try again! :laughing7:

And YES! Who didn't laugh at In Living Color!? I loved the Hedley's! :laughing7:

On one trip to one of them islands, the guy that took our luggage off the boat, was the taxi driver, also put us on the bus tour, the scuba boat, was the cook at the restaurant, conch shell shucker, coconut peeler, bartender, casino dealer, limbo performer, talk about concierge service! :laughing7:

No "loaded" guns in da house. Within three feet of my bed I have a baseball bat and a can of bear spray (20 feet), those and my inner wolverine ( ok and Spartan) and I won't back down.

Hey critters, I is checking in. I been real sick. Thought it was sinus infection/allergies, after a week of fighting, and not too well, evidently. The fever shot up over 102, so I decided to go on a weeks worth of antibiotics.
Got no taste for anything, but trying to eat and keep hydrated.
If any got any idea of some good things I might can eat, post away....... oh! I forgot!
I got raspberry sherbert in the freezer! I sure hope I can taste that!
Thank you for any good thoughts sent my way. mew :cat:

One part gatorade...two parts water. I adjusted this from Backbacon's idea. Served me very well during my pneumonia. Drink nonstop...stay hydrated. You should have called me with symptoms earlier. I don't want to hear of such nonsense again...next time you call me first.

Thank you Crispin, Gatorade is on the lists, not that I have neglected my chocolate milk addiction,, er,
I mean intake. I honestly believed it started out with pollen, but I fought, I just couldn't keep outta all the pollen. Then,
being all stuffed up, things got infected. My nurse neighbor was consulted, we had the viral/bacterial talk, the antibiotic abuse talk, and I gotta take these things for a full 7 days. I am feeling better. It was really rough, though.

You can't stop someone that is determined, BUT, you can deter the determined, by making things, just too hard to be bothered with.
Think about an out-door speaker, you can run a tape of loud barking dogs. Or, possibly a motion detector, that if someone crosses it, the barking dogs would go off. I'd be in trouble too, in that, I keep nothing loaded and right at hand(I have alternatives).
A can of hairspray and a lighter instantly becomes feminine napalm! I actually hold a lighter when I pump gas, just to assure anyone stupid enough to approach me, that I MAY just be crazy enough!

Pat,

If you have congestion and/or cough, I don't think milk products are a good idea. Especially with a fever.
Best to get your chocolate fix with a Snickers!

Hope you get to felling better!

Best,

Scott
