CRISPINS CRITTERS

No matter how the Wind howls, the Mountain cannot bow to it.

I'm not sure if I've requested this before, but it is worth a listen regardless... "The Man" by Aloe Black.

"Who is this living creature that has an insatiable love for the dead? Living dead girl...."

Ah, my Friend,

You play me as a cheap harmonica....

Which I am not....

(Full Screen? Absolutely!)

Your Friend,

Scott

And.....

For you, my Friend!

Scott

However,
The lyrics sound familiar....
Elton John?

And the forces of Nature allows for the best and worst of mankind.
Yeah, I "get it....."

What stories have you to share?
Any?

Loosen up, Scarce Crispy Dude....

Best,

Scott

I'm always ready to discuss topics..
Either here or via PM. You got it!

Blow, blow, thou winter wind, Thou art not so unkind As mans ingratitude; Thy teeth are not so keen,Because thou art unseen, Although thy breath be rude.

Perhaps I may have been misunderstood.....

I was talking about stories of getting away from the demons of civilization.
You know, GET TO THE "WOODS!"

Can one make a fire. In the rain?
Without a lighter or matches?
ETC.....
---
No foul, no harm.

"What did he say? No found owl in the barn?"

(Not to be construed in any way other than
I'm thinking of Carol when I play this song.)
[And THAT'S NOT to be construed....]

Hope All
Are Well.

Best,

Scott

Sounds a lot like the Bard.

I am fond though, of Tennyson.....

"My strength is as the strength of ten, because my heart is pure."

My Best Wishes,

Scott

Keats may suit certain D.J.'s.

"Where are the songs of Spring? Ay, where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too,-
While barred clouds bloom the soft-dying day,
And touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue;"

is magnesium allowed?

What have you normally on a daily basis in your pocket?

Yeah. I carry magnesium. And steel. (Pocketknife.)

And I can identify flint....

Come along on my next Mountain adventure, my Friend!

Best,

Scott

PS.

In the same line of thinking....
Though there is no type of signal where I explore in the mountains, a "device" could prove to be beneficial for the battery supply to create fire....

One of many ways.....

Well played, my Friend. Well played. :notworthy:

In reply, continuing with my affirmation of Tennyson.
I offer:

“No man ever got very high by pulling other people down. The intelligent merchant does not knock his competitors. The sensible worker does not work those who work with him. Don't knock your friends. Don't knock your enemies. Don't knock yourself.”

House the People?
Feed the hungry?
Shoe the children?

Yeah,

I've helped do these things, and more.....
And I will continue my desire to help others....
Until my last breath.

Best Wishes,

Scott

Stickin with Alfred then are you? Good. Stick to your guns. Here's non A.T. but meant as confirmation of your affirmation..

Don't You Quit.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than

It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
Whe he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Attributions, my Friend!

For the minions....

Just kidding....

For ME!

The preceding "Literary Quote" was from.....

"Author Unknown...."

Sadly.....

But surely poignant....

My Best Wishes,
Always,

Scott

Yes, I also seek History.

I've lived so damn much of it.....:laughing7:

I think of how it must have been, way back then......

Have times really changed?

What is it that we want?

World peace?

Personal peace?

Well, for personal peace,

I've found that Volunteering has given me peace.

In my world, my help is always ready.

Peace is always a need away.

May you find the Peace that you may seek......

Best,

Scott
